MOMO JOJO : As unique as its Name

Hello to all my readers!!!! This is the first blog on my culinary journey. I have always had a proclivity towards food, trying out different cuisines and flavours has developed a deep fondness towards it! I chose to be a herbivore since childhood, but occasionally prefer eggs πŸ™‚

Being a Vegetarian, it’s difficult to find good food variations at times. But to my surprise this restaurant serves all veg food!! You read it right πŸ™‚ Momo Jojo, name so unique and equally creative are the dishes served here. They have three outlets in Bangalore, in Koramangala, BTM Layout and JP Nagar. I have been to their BTM and Koramangala outlets.

They offer about 64 varieties of customized momos based on your preferences. I had been to their outlets with a couple of blogger friends on invitation from one of the three founders Mr Ankit Agrawal. This blog will be addressing both the outlets πŸ™‚ Ambience of this place is quite nice, staff are equally friendly which creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Interiors are colored black and yellow. Its basically a quick eatery place.

This outlet also has cute sticky notes clipped onto ropes, each with feedback written by customers. This adds well to the ambience.

Drinks to start with:

We started with Chillers, Iced Tea and Raw mango. I personally liked Iced Tea better of two.

Starters:

Moving on to the Filling sampler, these are nothing but 8 steamed momos each with a different fillings. Mix Veg, Seasoned Potato, Spicy Soya, Peanut Paneer, Mushroom Onion, Spinach cheese corn, Garlic cheese and Paneer salsa were the fillings served to us with three delicious sauces which complimented them. Momos were so soft and thin, we could actually see the fillings. They felt very light and of course were super delicious!!! My personal favourites were Garlic cheese, Mushroom Onion and Seasoned Potato.

Tandoori momos, this was something distinctive that I had not tried before. They claim to be the first in India to introduce them. We were served with Mushroom Onion, Spinach cheese corn and Spicy soya. Choice of fillings were left to us. I loved this variant!!! Also they gave us a batch of Pan fried momos which were good as well.

Main Course:

I had never heard of Momo Sizzlers as well, Β so got a chance to try one πŸ™‚ Sizzler was served on a bed of rice noodles (In house), which was so soft and thin. Also some fries by the side and finally momos to top it with. It was definitely tasty and filling!!

We also tried their Wok, Soupy noodles and Momo Bhel. Out of these i personally liked Soupy noodles and Momo Bhel.

Desserts:

We finally moved onto desserts. They serve only two of them, Chocolate Brownie Sizzler with Ice cream and Choco Bao.
