Hello to all my readers!! Its been a while since my last blog… And good to be back! This is my first blog of 2018, Wishing you all a very Happy New year (Better Late than Never 😉 )
I had been to this beautiful restaurant recently with one of my friend. And was eager to share my experience about it as it was something different for me. So let me get started on this..
Monsoon is a fine dining restaurant at The Park, Bangalore. They are one of the first boutique hotels, near MG road. With its facilities, restaurants and bars – making it a preferred destination for luxury hotels in Bangalore. Monsoon is a 24 hrs restaurant which serves Pan- Asian and other International cuisines. They have both buffet and A la carte option as well.
Ambience:
Monsoon is at ground floor close to the lobby when you enter The Park. Fine detailing has been taken care of furniture to amenities or services which reflects luxury. Decor of this restaurant complements the food to ensure a complete experience.
Drinks to start with:
We ordered couple of Cocktails from A La Carte menu, Green Fire and Lips Dont Lie. Green Fire was Vodka based Cocktail with Green chilly and Lips Dont Lie was Tequila based Cocktail with Chocolate. I personally loved Green Fire out of the two.
Soups and Salads:
There was a unique buffet set up at Monsoon, Fit and Healthy menu. This was something new to me and wanted to try. We started of with Burmese cuisine soup called Khow Seuy. This was absolutely fantastic! Packed with flavors and a must try from this place. The soup had base and accomplishments to be added based on our customization. I did add Glass noodles and few veggies of my preferences to go with.
As the concept was #fitandhealthy there were lots of Salad varieties with over 5 salad dressings. You could also customize the salad as per your taste preferences.
Russian Salad, Turkish Salad, Cottage Cheese with Tomato Salad, Noodle Salad and Corn Salad with Cream. I personally liked Russian and Cottage Cheese Salads. They also had one Chat variant, Aloo Sev Chat which was delicious.
Also, they had Non Vegetarian Salad options as well which my friend tried. Oriental Fish Salad, Egg White Salad and Chicken Chat. To add to this there were both Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian Sliders as well as Live Sandwich Counter with bread and filling customization.
We were so full with Salads and Sliders, couldn’t try much of Main Course. And decided to try some desserts.
Desserts:
There were multitude of Desserts.. White Forest Pastries, Walnut Tarts, Rabdi, Strawberry Cheesecake and many more. I Loved White forest pastry out of what i tried.
Overall Experience:
Perfect and Cozy place for a good dining experience. I absolutely loved the ambiance and staff were very courteous. Food was really good with a different concept which was something I had not come across earlier. This buffet is perfect for someone who is looking for healthy options.
I would love to hear from you all. Do leave a comment below if you have been to this restaurant and also your favourites.
